Company Transition Value at Risk (TVaR) provides forward-looking returns-based analysis leveraging EVA (Economic Value Added) methodology and company asset-level data.
The TVaR solution helps investors assess their portfolio’s exposure to climate-related transition risks and opportunities. The TVaR solution allows financial institutions to identify assets which may be most at risk from carbon pricing and demand changes, as well as those which may be better positioned to seize opportunities.
Analysis of the potential transition risks and opportunities is based on two of the most common reference transition risk scenarios, as developed by the International Energy Agency (IEA):
• Sustainable Development (SDS), corresponding to a 1.65˚C temperature increase
• Net Zero (NZE2050), corresponding to a 1.5˚C temperature increase
